Austin Correll - Nashville, TN

Austin Correll is an Associate Attorney at Sherwood Boutique Litigation, PLC. His practice of law is focused on criminal defense. Mr. Correll first found his calling for criminal defense during his teenage years when he worked in a rural Kentucky Teen Court program defending juveniles accused of misdemeanor crimes. It was there he first realized the role of storytelling in law and how fulfilled he felt to have such a profound impact on the lives of the teens he defended. He continued that approach while honing his skills in law school.

Mr. Correll graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in History from the University of Louisville. He then received his J.D. from Belmont University College of Law. While obtaining his J.D., Mr. Correll was a fierce competitor on the Mock Trial team, competing in the American Association for Justice Competition and National Trial Competition.

As a law clerk, he gained tremendous experience in State and Federal Criminal trials, and also interned for the Nashville Arts and Business Council’s Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for the Arts program—helping underprivileged Tennesseans with legal issues in their artistic endeavors. As a leader amongst his peers, he served on the Student Bar Association as a Class Senator all three years.

After graduating, Mr. Correll was naturally drawn to Sherwood Boutique Litigation and their storytelling approach. He has an undeniable passion in his pursuit for justice and an uncanny ability to put his clients at great ease through the litigation process.

Mr. Correll was raised in Elizabethtown, Kentucky but is proud to be serving clients in Middle Tennessee and beyond. He has a wide variety of hobbies ranging from kayaking, musical theater, performing at Hip-Hop Karaoke, and arguing with his friends about basketball.
