Overview

Since entering private practice in 2007, Kimberly has acquired extensive experience representing physicians, nurses, hospitals, and long term care facilities in all aspects of healthcare liability, personal injury, and wrongful death litigation in State and Federal Courts in Tennessee. She represents clients from the initial notice of a claim through conclusion in mediation, arbitration or trial, and she handles cases through post-trial motions and appeals. Kimberly also counsels healthcare providers in various aspects of their practices and represents them in business disputes. She represents mental health facilities in commitment hearings before specialty mental health courts and also represents physicians before the Board of Medical Examiners in licensure and disciplinary matters. Before entering private practice, Kimberly spent two years as law clerk to The Honorable Frank G. Clement, Jr. of the Tennessee Court of Appeals.

In addition to her busy law practice, Kimberly shares her expertise through volunteer service as Chairperson of the Permanent Committee on Judiciary of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, which confers with the highest judicatory of the Cumberland Presbyterian church and its chief executive officer on matters of civil and ecclesiastical law and serves as the highest appellate commission for church disciplinary matters. Kimberly is a member of the Nashville Bar Association and past chair of the Davidson County High School Mock Trial Tournament. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the American Bar Association, and was an Associate in the Harry Phillips American Inn of Court. She is a member of the TBA’s Leadership Law Class of 2016.

Kimberly lives in Clarksville, Tennessee with her husband, David, and their two young children, Sophie and Grant.
