Nashville Nursing Home & Elder Abuse Lawyer
Overview
Lindsay Cordes grew up in Northern Kentucky, across the river from Cincinnati. She began her career as a family law attorney, at a small firm in Louisville, Kentucky, because she wanted to work closely with clients and help people. She then began working in personal injury law for the next seven years of her practice where she gained extensive experience representing clients in medical malpractice cases, nursing home abuse and neglect cases, car wrecks, mass torts and sexual assault cases. During this time, she developed a passion and affinity for representing nursing home abuse and neglect victims and decided she wanted to devote the majority of her practice to helping these exceptional clients.
Ms. Cordes has been a staunch advocate for nursing home abuse and neglect victims, having publicly spoken about issues such as forced arbitration. She believes that nursing home abuse and neglect clients represent some of the most innocent victims of society, who have been robbed of dignity, health, and compassion, from the very people they put their trust in to provide their basic everyday needs and care. It is for this reason that bad actors in this industry must be held accountable through the justice system. Ms. Cordes is a practical yet fierce attorney, who is not afraid to go to court, when necessary, but also provide her clients considerate and compassionate guidance throughout their case. Ms. Cordes played a key role in obtaining $2.2 and $5 million verdicts against a Kentucky nursing home at her previous firm.
Ms. Cordes is a 2010 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law, where she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board. She also graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Kentucky, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, double majoring in marketing and management. She currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband, Adam. An avid animal rescue advocate, she and her husband share their home with three dogs: Jim, a yellow Labrador Retriever, Baxter, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Charlie, a miniature Dachshund. She enjoys cooking in her free time and scuba diving, when she gets the rare chance to go.
