Overview
Cameron Thomas grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Afterwards, she spent a year at Ernst & Young in Chicago as a tax accountant for financial service offices before attending law school at Northwestern University. There, Cameron conducted clinical work with juvenile criminal cases and spent a summer with the Office of the Public Guardian in Chicago. Cameron previously worked in restructuring and bankruptcy at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago and Stearns Weaver Miller in Miami before pursuing her passion for family law in Austin with Maples Jones.
Fun Fact: Cameron is certified in SCUBA and ASA Catamaran sailing, which she’s used in Belize, Mexico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
