Overview
Carrie H. Westbrook got into family law to help people, including getting custody for her clients who are unfairly cast as the underdogs in such proceedings.
"There is nothing like obtaining a victory for a well-deserving parent who wants custody for the right reasons," Ms. Westbrook said.
She is a zealous advocate for each client from the beginning of his case until final resolution.
"I know when it is necessary to try a case, but I also know when to compromise and reach an agreement to save my client time, money, and disappointment," Ms. Westbrook said.
In one particular contested divorce and child custody case where her client was being painted as the "bad" parent, Ms. Westbrook was able to legally obtain and properly present to the court text messages, emails, and electronic photographs depicting his spouse’s true character and fault in the break up of the marriage, resulting in a very favorable outcome for him.
"Going through any family law matter is typically the most difficult process a person will endure and I enjoy being there to guide and counsel my client through the process," Ms. Westbrook said.
