With 27 years of substantial transactional and litigation experience, Joseph F. Brophy has taken his diverse clientele from the boardroom to the courtroom in virtually all civil lawsuits as lead counsel. This includes, without limitations: contract and fraud, fiduciary duty, real estate, construction, securities, directors and officer's liability, professional malpractice, energy, insurance, personal injury, unfair competition, intellectual property and trade secrets.

​His diverse clientele includes individuals, small and large businesses, former senior government officials, law professors, local and national businesses, an owner of the NFL franchise, construction companies, franchisors and franchisees, and business executives.

Before Brophy & Bland, PLLC, he was an equity partner in two high profile Austin law firms and has served as General Counsel to holding companies in the commercial real estate development and financial advisory industries.
