While in law school, she served as President of the Health Law Organization and Managing Editor of the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy. She was also honored with the Order of the Scribes and the Ewer-Owen Health Law Writing Award in recognition of her legal writing and academic achievement.
After law school, Kayleigh practiced in mass tort litigation and worked on claims within the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program before the United States Court of Federal Claims.
