Overview
Kayvon earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law. Kayvon focuses his practice solely on family law, and has earned recognition for his litigation skills by being selected to the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars lists. In 2023, Kayvon became Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Kayvon represents clients in all manner of family law cases, including complex property division, high conflict custody litigation, marital property agreements, appeals, protective orders, and adoptions. Kayvon’s ability to negotiate creative settlements for his clients is a vital skill. When litigation becomes necessary, Kayvon’s extensive trial experience serves as an asset for clients.
Kayvon also serves as a mediator, and enjoys using his negotiations skills to help families reach creative settlement agreements without the cost or acrimony of trial.
Kayvon is involved in the Austin Young Lawyers Association (where he served on the Board of Directors from 2018-2020), the Texas Young Lawyers Association, and the Austin Bar Association. He is a member of the Austin Bar Association Mentorship Committee. Kayvon is also the Assistant Director of the National Association of Divorce Professionals' Austin Chapter, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Iranian American Bar Association Foundation as the Chief Financial Officer. Kayvon was selected to Austin Monthly’s 2025 Top Lawyers list. In 2026, Kayvon was selected as an Austin Under 40 Finalist in the Legal category.
