Kris has tried cases throughout the United States in both state and federal courts. Before joining Cunningham Swaim, Kris served as the Deputy Chief of the Consumer Protection Division and Managing Trial Attorney in the Civil Medicaid Fraud Division of the Texas Attorney General’s office. In those roles, Kris routinely handled complex commercial litigation cases against Fortune 500 companies on behalf of the State of Texas. Prior to her time in public service, Kris was a partner at a trial boutique in Dallas, Texas, where her practice focused on aviation, product liability, and commercial litigation.
