Overview

Mary Blake grew up in Georgetown, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science with minors in English and general business. Mary Blake was an active member of Delta Gamma Fraternity, served as the vice president of the Texas Tech Club Tennis Team, and worked as a student assistant at the Texas Tech University Writing Center. During her summers, Mary Blake worked as a Senate messenger for the Texas State Senate, where she was able to sit in on committee hearings and be present on the Senate floor during legislation.

After graduating from Texas Tech in 2020, Mary Blake moved east to attend law school at LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. There, she was a member of the Women’s Law Student Association and the Public Interest Law Society. She also had the pleasure of serving as a judicial clerk for the Texas State Office of Administrative Hearings the summer of 2022, where she gained valuable insight to the inner workings of the Texas judicial system.

After graduating from law school in 2023, Mary Blake returned to Austin and joined Wright & Greenhill, P.C. shortly after taking the bar exam.
