Steve Augustine - Austin, TX

Steve Augustine brings more than 15 years of experience advocating for clients in complex legal disputes, with a career spanning personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, insurance coverage, class actions, professional malpractice, and regulatory matters in state, federal, and administrative courts. Over the years, he has successfully tried cases to verdict, secured wins on appeal, and built a reputation for both skill in the courtroom and genuine care for the people he represents. He is licensed to practice in Texas and South Carolina.

Before joining FVF Law, Steve was a partner at one of Texas’s largest insurance defense firms, where he served on a national trial team for a Fortune 500 company. He began his career prosecuting cases for the Texas Department of Insurance, protecting consumers against unfair practices. Today, he draws on that diverse background to advocate for individuals and families facing life-altering injuries and losses, with a focus on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Steve earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in 2002 and his law degree from Baylor Law School in 2008. Outside the office, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing golf and pickleball, and cheering on the Texas Longhorns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
