Overview
Edmundo "Eddie" Leandro was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. He graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1999 and then Texas State University with a degree in political science in 2004.
From 2005 to 2012 Edmundo served as an Area Supervisor for the Child Nutrition Department for the Brownsville Independent School District. He went back to law school in 2012 and graduated from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2015.
From August 2015 to Spring of 2016, Edmundo served as a Clerk and Assistant District Attorney for Cameron County District Attorney's Office when he joined Lawler & Leandro, P.C. Since that time, he has advocated for thousands of civil defendants and has independently managed a docket of over 100 cases ranging from motor vehicle and trucking accidents, premises liability, construction defect and medical malpractice.
Edmundo became a Partner at Lawler & Leandro, P.C. in the Spring of 2021 and is currently working on obtaining his Board Certification in Personal Injury Law. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
