Hired Law firm 2022-2024He is by far the worst attorney in the Brown County area! He was appointed to represent me and not only would he never answer my phone calls or my questions! He went as far as to tell the assistant DA, in court (unaware myself and witnesses could see and hear them) He stated I was a liar, said I had multiple personality disorder and said I admitted to something I didn't! When I went to fire him in court he even straight lied to the judges face! I hired a new attorney and thank God I was able to secure my freedom! Judson Woodley was prepared to not only to slander me as a person he has no concern for another's life or cares to fight for your rights and ensure justice prevails! I would leave 0 stars if I could

Hired Law firm 2024-2025Attorney Woodley has been a great resource to our family dealing with legal issues regarding our mother. The staff in his office are always helpful as well. We have had to contact him several times and he is quick to respond. Grateful for his expertise, knowledge, and patience during our family's need for legal help. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs legal advice from an expert Attorney.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
