Overview

Alexandra is an associate attorney at Flournoy McLain, joining the firm in 2022. She earned her J.D. from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in May 2020, passed the California Bar Exam in October 2020, and was admitted to the California State Bar in January 2021. In 2022, she also passed the Texas Bar Exam and was admitted to the Texas State Bar. Alexandra graduated from California State University of Northridge with her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.

Prior to joining Flournoy McLain, Alexandra worked in Family Law helping clients through divorce, child custody, guardianships, and property division. She has clerked for an environmental non-profit agency as part of a clinic at Chapman, and also clerked for a non-profit legal aid clinic through the Children's Hospital of Orange County aiding in guardianships and conservatorships. Her experience in high stress, extremely sensitive, and high asset cases has prepared her for helping navigate clients through the emotional roller coaster of Trust and Estate Litigation. Alexandra is client-focused and strives to attain the best outcome for their future happiness and peace of mind.

Away from the office, Alexandra spends her time attending book club meetings and walking her two Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retriever, and two cats with her husband.

When viewing a listing, consider the state advertising restrictions to which lawyers and law firms must adhere, as well as our FindLaw.com Legal Directory disclaimer. Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
