The verdict is believed to be the largest negligence verdict in the history of Bexar County. The verdict has received national attention. Simmons was named to the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee in In Re: Astroworld Festival Litigation related to the tragic events involving the deaths of 10 people at the Astroworld Festival Concert in 2021 created by Travis Scott and promoted by Live Nation. Simmons was among a handful of attorneys selected for the Plaintiffs’ leadership of this mass casualty litigation.
