Overview
John L. Hubble is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and St. Mary’s University School of Law. While a law student at St. Mary’s, Mr. Hubble distinguished himself by earning the following accolades: K.K. Woodley Memorial Scholarship; Who’s Who Among American Students in Law School; American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Contracts; Dean’s List; St. Mary’s Law Journal, 1975 – 1976.
Upon graduation for law school Mr. Hubble became an Assistant District Attorney, Dallas County, Felony Trial Division. After leaving the D.A’s offices, Mr. Hubble entered the private practice of law with a large downtown Dallas law firm representing clients through out Texas in a wide variety of legal matters. In 1994 he formed the law firm of Hubble & Pistorius practicing in the areas of insurance claims and property insurance litigation, personal injury, construction defects litigation, real estate litigation and general business contract and tort litigation. Mr. Hubble has also served as General Counsel to American Federal Bank, F.S.B., Dallas, Texas, and General Counsel to Camden Financial Corporation, a Subsidiary of Sandia Federal Savings, Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Hubble is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association (DBA), the Tort and Insurance Practice section (TIPS) of the DBA where he has served as an officer and director, the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA) and the Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (TAPIA).
