Megan Erinakes is a dependable family law attorney committed to helping clients resolve complex legal issues and confidently move into the next chapter of their lives. Since being licensed in Texas in 2019, Megan has focused her practice on thoughtful strategy, clear communication, and results that protect what matters most—family.
Megan earned her J.D. from UNT Dallas College of Law (2019), where she served as President of the Board of Advocates, competed in six moot court competitions, and was a Senior Staff Reporter on Law Review. She was a Teaching Fellow and Research Assistant for the Legal Writing Program and was active in the Women in Law Student Association. Her work and leadership were recognized with the CALI Award in Family Law, placement on the Dean’s List, and the Judge Merrill Hartman Distinguished Service Award for dedication to public service. Her passion for family law was ignited during the 2017 Dallas Women Lawyers Association Leadership Class, partnering with Genesis Women’s Shelter to support its legal department.
Megan graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2016 with a B.A. in Letters (Constitutional Studies concentration) and a minor in Criminology. While at OU, she was a member of the Sooner Dance Company, Alpha Omicron Pi (Xi Chapter), the Speech & Debate Team, and the Constitutional Studies Student Association. She received multiple academic honors, including the Distinguished Scholar Award, Sooner Heritage Scholarship, Dean’s and President’s Honor Rolls, Honors Scholar designation, and participated in the Journey to Ireland education-abroad program.
A committed lifelong learner, Megan is a continual member of the Texas Bar College for her accomplishments in continuing legal education. She was selected to the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Leadership Class (2021) and has been named a Thomson Reuters “Rising Star” in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 (as published in Texas Monthly).
Outside the office, Megan enjoys musical theater, cheering on gymnastics, spending time with loved ones, and doting on her cat.
Megan’s interest in the legal field was sparked eleven years ago when she joined her high school’s mock trial team. To this day, Megan Erinakes is a steady, strategic family-law advocate who helps clients move through difficult transitions with clarity and confidence.
