Rebecca’s practice focuses on representing individuals and business clients in civil and criminal matters involving allegations of fraud, financial misconduct, healthcare fraud, asset forfeiture, and complex loss calculations.

Rebecca has experience assisting in the defense of clients in federal criminal matters involving substantial fraud allegations, including healthcare-related fraud, financial-loss disputes, restitution issues, and asset forfeiture proceedings. Her work includes analyzing financial records, medical billing issues, government loss theories, forfeiture claims, and restitution exposure, as well as preparing legal research, motions, subpoenas, and litigation strategy.

Rebecca’s experience also includes matters involving healthcare providers, insurers, third-party administrators, and payment-related disputes. She has worked on issues involving provider reimbursement, ERISA and non-ERISA plan disputes, medical necessity and preauthorization denials, underpayment claims, breach of contract theories, and disputes arising from complex medical and financial records.

In addition to her white-collar and healthcare-related work, Rebecca has experience in civil litigation and insurance defense, including claims involving breach of contract, fraud, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, negligent entrustment, gross negligence, discovery disputes, dispositive motions, and case assessment. Her practice often involves matters where civil liability, insurance issues, financial records, and criminal or regulatory exposure overlap.

Before becoming an attorney, Rebecca worked as a paralegal with the United States Attorney’s Office. She also holds a Juris Doctor, a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning, and a Master of Science in Criminology, giving her a strong foundation for matters involving financial analysis, criminal procedure, fraud allegations, damages, restitution, and complex litigation strategy.
