Ms. Huff earned her Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School, where she completed Baylor's renowned Practice Court program and the Criminal Law Professional Track. This intensive training provided a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy, legal writing, trial preparation, and criminal litigation.
Following law school, Ms. Huff spent five years representing clients in criminal matters throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. During that time, she defended individuals facing a wide range of criminal allegations, from misdemeanor offenses to serious felony charges. Her experience in criminal defense has given her a practical understanding of the legal, procedural, and personal challenges that often accompany a criminal accusation.
In addition to her criminal defense practice, Ms. Huff expanded her legal experience into immigration law, representing noncitizen clients in removal proceedings and immigration status applications. This work provided valuable insight into the collateral consequences that criminal charges can have on immigration status, family stability, employment opportunities, and long-term goals.
