Overview

Tom Railsback is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is an experienced Collaborative Law Attorney. He earned his undergraduate and law degrees from Southern Methodist University and served in the United States Air Force from 1970 until 1976 at duty stations in California, Vietnam, Upper Heyford, England and Washington, D.C.

Mr. Railsback is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers of America, a member of the State Bar of Texas, and past chair of the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association. He is also a member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists and the college of the State Bar of Texas. He has participated as a speaker and writer in continuing legal education in Family Law for the State Bar of Texas, Dispute Mediation Services, the National Business Institute and numerous Dallas-area organizations. Mr. Railsback is also a trained and experienced family law mediator.
