She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from UTEP and became a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to law school, Jessica worked for KPMG, a national accounting firm. She went to St. Mary’s University School of Law and graduated in 2004. After graduating from law school, Jessica returned home to El Paso and worked for a prominent defense law firm for nine years. In 2014, Jessica made a pivotal decision – to leave the security of a comfortable job and establish her own law office as a plaintiff’s lawyer. Her journey from a defense firm lawyer to a successful plaintiff’s trial attorney is a testament to resilience, passion, and the pursuit of justice. Her story is a reminder that with determination, passion, and a commitment to justice, one can carve out their own path and be a force for positive change. Driven by a shared vision and a desire to provide even more comprehensive legal services, Jessica joined forces with her esteemed colleague, Connie J. Flores, to form, Flores Mendez Law. This strategic move marked a significant milestone in Jessica’s career, where she could expand her impact and continue her unwavering commitment to her clients.
