Experienced Criminal Defense

Attorney Mark Streiff was raised in Connecticut and at the age of 17 enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After a decade of military service, Mark spent time in the automotive industry in various management roles before utilizing his veteran’s benefits to go back to school to achieve his dream of becoming an attorney.

Mark first attended Tarrant County College where he earned an Associates of Arts degree in just 6 months and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Just a little more than year after that he graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Mark then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas.

While in law school Mark decided he wanted to concentrate his future career in the criminal defense field. He participated in both the Actual Innocence and the Criminal Justice clinics at SMU. To hone his advocacy skills, Mark was extremely active in mock trial and moot court competitions where he and his teams advanced from ABA regional competitions to ABA national championship competitions multiple times. These accomplishments would earn Mark induction to the prestigious National Order of the Barristers.

Mark’s first job out of law school was working for a boutique immigration firm handling any clients’ criminal defense matters. Those cases involved anything from misdemeanors to serious felonies. He then moved on to work at Texas’ largest dedicated criminal defense firm where he handled cases ranging from DWI to murder and represented clients not only in the DFW Metroplex but also throughout East Texas as well. Also, while at that firm, Mark handled the firm’s cases for clients who were accused of federal crimes. Today, Mark is licensed to practice under the State Bar of Texas, U.S. District Court-Northern District of Texas, and U.S. Fifth Circuit of Appeals.

Mark has vast knowledge and experience handling weapons-related offenses as he is an avid supporter of the 2nd Amendment. He also has vast knowledge and experience in handling cases involving citizens that ride in motorcycle clubs and who are prosecuted for their involvement in those clubs.
