Rob Henry Attorney At Law
Fort Worth Personal Injury Lawyer
Overview
I am a Personal Injury/Civil Trial Attorney based in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area. I handle all matters of civil litigation. The majority of my cases are plaintiff/personal injury but I also handle other types of cases related to general civil litigation. I have worked on a wide variety of cases from catastrophic and traumatic brain injury cases to complex commercial and business disputes. Although my practice is based in DFW, I am also proud to serve the surrounding areas and have been involved in litigation throughout the State of Texas. I was born and raised in Fort Worth and went to college at Texas Tech University where I obtained a JD/MBA. After graduation I returned home to Fort Worth. I treat all of my clients with honesty and respect. Unfortunately, lots of times this means telling them something they do not want to hear. Every case is important to me. The most rewarding part of my job is helping someone work through a problem or challenge that he or she is facing. I believe very strongly that litigation should always be used as a last resort, but unfortunately, often times it is necessary.About Robert L. Henry

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
