"When I first meet with a client, I start by letting them know that it's going to be a hard process. You will be telling me intimate details that you may feel uncomfortable divulging, but hiding important details won’t help you," she said. "I need to know everything that is going on in order to fight for them to the fullest."
Ms. Robertson also realizes a candid conversation needs to go both ways.
"In family law cases, I feel it is imperative to prepare you to expect the unexpected so that from beginning to end you feel prepared for what may lie ahead," she said.
Ms. Robertson said she enjoys the direct contact with people family law provides along with being able to fight for what fathers deserve.
"I believe a divorce or child custody case to be one of the most difficult experiences a person will go through in their life, one with long-lasting effects," Ms. Robertson said. "As your attorney, it is my job to advise you of all of your legal options, so that together we can formulate the best plan to achieve your goals."
