Overview
Margaret Maddox graduated cum laude with her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and also graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She is admitted to practice law before the Texas Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and all Texas State Courts. For over fifteen years, Ms. Maddox has focused her legal practice on property owners association law, residential and commercial real estate law, corporate law, litigation, newspaper representation, and First Amendment law. Prior to joining Daughtry & Farine, P.C., she practiced municipal utility district law at Young & Brooks and corporate tax law at Enron. Ms. Maddox is a member of State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Galveston County Bar Association, Community Associations Institute, and the Texas Aggie Bar Association. She volunteers for the Houston Bar Association's Teach for Texas Committee/Reading in Schools program, the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas, and the Texas Community Association Advocates (TCAA) Bill Review Committee. Margaret was also a selected as one of Houston's "Top Lawyers" as presented in H Texas Magazine from 2013 to present. Margaret and her husband Roger are the proud parents of teenage triplets (BGB), a son and daughter-in-law in California, and two dogs.
