Michael Herndon - Houston, TX

Mr. Herndon has been licensed to practice law in all courts of the State of Texas since 2006. He is a graduate of the University of Houston where he obtained his bachelor’s of science degree in psychology. He earned his law degree at Texas Southern University and graduated cum laude. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Texas State Bar, and the Houston Bar Association.

Mr. Herndon did not begin law school until his early fifties. He brings a wide range of experience into his law practice. His fifteen year airline career cumulated in his position of Vice President at Continental Airlines. He was president of a large international hotel marketing company before starting his own specialized tour and marketing company which he sold before beginning law school. His business experience makes him one of the areas most knowledgeable attorneys in the field of property valuation, small business valuation, and marital property matters.

Mike has also found a niche in Texas grandparent rights, representing grandparents in asserting their rights to protect their grandchildren.

Mike is a trained mediator having completed the required 40 hours of training and additional twenty hours of family mediation training at the University of Houston Law Center.

Mike has been married to Debra Herndon for more than five years and has two grown daughters, both graduates of Texas A&M University. Both are recently married, and Mike is expecting his own grandchildren any day.
