Nick grew up in Dallas and earned his bachelor’s degree in political science at Yale University where he lettered all four years on the varsity basketball team and earned All-Ivy Academic honors. While in law school, Nick dedicated a significant amount of time to the Innocence Clinic, where he assisted Dallas County inmates claiming actual innocence.
