Susanne M. Nelson - Houston, TX

Ms. Susanne M. Nelson received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the South Texas College of Law and also holds a Bachelor in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston. In addition to these degrees, Susanne earned a Master of Laws degree from Pepperdine University, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Caruso School of Law in Malibu, CA.

Prior to joining Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. Nelson spent 25 years working in civil and commercial litigation in Houston. This includes personal injury, wrongful death, industrial accidents, premises liability, products liability, toxic tort, medical malpractice (cardiac and obstetrics), new home construction defects, multi- district litigation, TRO and injunctions, and arbitrations. She has extensive experience in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motion practice, discovery, fact and expert depositions, client meetings, research and writing, mediation, and trial preparation.

Ms. Nelson is a native Houstonian. She has two adult children, and two grand-dogs. She enjoys weight-training and pilates. The beach is her favorite vacation. She is hard-working, disciplined and a self-starter.
