Attorney Information
Overview
Bronson T. Yake has over 20 years of legal experience. He has practiced law in both Maryland and Texas, serving as a partner in a small litigation firm and handling matters across the full spectrum of civil litigation. His experience includes everything from initial client consultations and negotiation through pleadings, motion practice, trial preparation, trial, and appeals.
In addition to private practice, Mr. Yake has worked with the Small Business Administration, where he assisted disaster victims in obtaining emergency disaster relief loans. He also served as a lead attorney investigating fraud related to the COVID Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program. This work required careful analysis, attention to detail, and a practical, solution-oriented approach to complex factual and legal issues.
Mr. Yake pursued a career in the law because he finds fulfillment in solving problems and helping navigate legal challenges they might otherwise abandon, even when they have a just case. Clients value his logical, inquisitive mindset and his ability to cut through complexity to develop clear, effective strategies.
Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Yake earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in aerospace engineering from Mississippi State University. He spent more than a decade working as an engineer in the automotive and aerospace/defense industries. This technical background informs his legal practice, particularly in cases involving complex systems, detailed records, and analytical problem-solving.
During law school, he was selected as a second-year student to lead a first-year Legal Research and Writing small group, reflecting his strong analytical and mentoring skills. He is currently learning Spanish and Norwegian.
Originally from Indiana, Mr. Yake lived on a farm for several years before his family relocated to Maryland. He now resides in North Richland Hills, Texas. He is married and has four daughters, one step-son, and one granddaughter. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys cooking (including winning a salsa-making contest), lifting weights, riding motorcycles with his wife and youngest daughter, and attending The Hills Church in North Richland Hills.
