His practice consists primarily of representation of a variety of clients in commercial litigation and insolvency matters. Specifically, Mr. Montoya has experience representing telecommunications, software and Internet-related companies, financial institutions, and oil and gas companies in matters involving workouts; litigation including requests for various types of extraordinary relief; and bankruptcy proceedings.

Prior to entering law school, Mr. Montoya was a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and was employed by Arthur Andersen & Co. and Burlington Resources.
