Overview

Zara Ali was born and raised in the southwest region of England. In 2008, she graduated with First Class Honours from the University of London, King's College London. Thereafter, she moved to Houston and received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2012. Zara was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2013 and is also eligible to practice in the Southern District of Texas. Zara has experience in areas of family law including, appeals, adoptions, divorces, SAPCRS and termination of parental rights. In 2014, Zara received her LL.M. from the University of Houston Law Center. During this time, she received specialized training in immigration law, particularly, business immigration as well as family immigration petitions. Zara is also a certified mediator and has training and experience in family law mediations.
