Brent Goudarzi is the founding partner of Goudarzi & Young, LLP in Gilmer, Upshur County, Texas. He received his B.A. (1993) and J.D. (1996) from Texas Tech University. He is the current President of the East Texas Trial Lawyers Association (2011-2017). Mr. Goudarzi has been honored as a Texas Super Lawyer in 2012 (Super Lawyers recognition is a Thomson Reuters service), a National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyer (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017), a Trial Lawyers Board of Regents Litigator Award winner in 2014 and 2015 (ranked top 1% of lawyers), and a National Association of Distinguished Counsel member (2015) and a member of the American Academy of Trial Attorneys - Premier 100 (2015). He is also a member of the American Association for Justice, the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum (since 2013), the Honorable T. John Ward American Inn of Court and the Upshur County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas.
