Overview

Javitch, Block & Rathbone is staffed with forty-nine attorneys. The firm was formed in 1991 by a merger of multiple law firms, the partners of which envisioned an opportunity to excel in the legal field of creditor representation. The firm is divided into three departments of Collection, Bankruptcy, and Litigation, although there is a great deal of overlap and coordinated effort.

The firm has legal offices in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati and Indianapolis, covering the states of Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.

The firm is equipped with computer hardware and software to efficiently handle work referred by our clients. JB&R utilizes superior technology for communications and research, providing clients with the most effective results. For collection purposes, our system provides automated access to TransUnion Credit Bureau services as well as skip tracing and collection tools such as Accolade, DBT Technologies, FastData, Merlin, and Choice Point. Our computer system allows for a large range of statistical analysis and reporting, and provides efficient file management for large volumes. The collection system features a report generator capable of meeting any client's expectations for status and statistical reporting. The system also offers our clients Internet access to their files for auditing or review purposes.
