Overview
At Keith & Lorfing in San Angelo, Texas, we’re proud to be a law firm rooted in West Texas and dedicated solely to the people and communities here. Our work centers on the region’s legal needs, with a focused practice in personal injury, criminal defense and federal criminal cases, so clients get a sharp, purpose-driven approach instead of a one-size-fits-all service.
Our team includes former prosecutors who have transitioned seamlessly to defense. Russell Lorfing served as a federal prosecutor in Lubbock, mastering federal procedure and courtroom decorum. Trey Keith has been a Sweetwater resident for 25 years, navigating local courts and fostering relationships with judges. Brandi Young brings more than 20 years of trial experience, and David Sloan gravitated to West Texas as soon as he could, drawn by its spirit and challenges. Together, we understand exactly what to expect from prosecutors, courtroom staff and juries across the region.
We leverage decades of insider insight to anticipate opposing strategies, counter unfair tactics and structure compelling narratives on your behalf. Whether we’re negotiating with major insurance companies or challenging a state’s plea offer, we rely on practical experience and fierce advocacy to protect your rights.
Our mission is rooted in humble beginnings. We come from families of mechanics, laborers, firefighters and military veterans. Those backgrounds instill in us the value of hard work, accountability and loyalty. When you choose us, you gain a team that treats your case with the same care that we would expect for our own families.
With more than 500 jury trials under our belt, we’ve earned meaningful verdicts and case dismissals throughout West Texas. We also make the process easy – accepting credit card payments, offering virtual meetings and keeping scheduling flexible – but our true strength is what happens in the courtroom and our unwavering drive to keep the playing field fair for every client. We’re also available at our offices in Abilene and Midland, with appointments offered in Lubbock by request.
