Verified ClientHired Law firm 2021-2022I hired the Major Law Firm and Abasi Major to represent me when I was injured in a car accident. They were very responsive in handling the other driver's insurance company. The Major Law Firm helped me get to doctors who treated my injuries. I am very satisfied with the Major Law Firm's representation and the settlement that they achieved for me.

Hired Law firm 2025-2026I was in a car accident and I hired this law firm because of their reputation. Abasi, my attorney, explained every detail of the case to me as it went on. The case manager was always available to answer my questions. I had an accident years ago, and the attorney I had on that case wouldn't return my phone calls for days, but with The Major Law Firm, they called me back right away. This car accident was really bad, but I had Abasi to guide me. I'm very happy with him and the firm.

Hired Law firm 2022-2025Hired after an accident in 12/2022. First thing I asked was if I should pursue this. Had a witness, but seems like when your car is not mangled it's a problem. Worst three years of my life. Settlement benefits the medical help you received.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
