"To me, my cases are like playing chess," Ms. Lopez said. "I want to think ahead as far as possible and determine the various likely outcomes so that my clients and I are prepared for any possible scenario."
The family law process is filled with emotional highs and lows and can be extremely confusing, she said.
"Through it all your attorney should guide you through with strength, determination, and an ability to provide clear and concise information so that you can make informed decisions," Ms. Lopez said. "Most importantly, I feel a great sense of accomplishment when my clients are satisfied with their outcome and feel that I have provided some solace through a difficult time."
