Mary Wilson was previously a partner in the law firm of Lyons & Rhodes, P.C. Mrs. Wilson graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1979 and received her J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1985.
Mrs. Wilson has served as lead litigator in numerous complex litigation matters, since admitted to practice in 1985. She possesses special expertise in litigation involving scientific, technical, medical, and pharma-ceutical issues, and, over the past 23 years, has successfully tried more than 80 cases to a jury verdict.
Mrs. Wilson has handled civil cases throughout the State of Texas. She has also tried cases in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, San Antonio Division. Mrs. Wilson is also admitted to practice before the Courts of New Mexico.
Recent examples of Mrs. Wilson's skills in multi-party complex litigation include Bowman v. United States, a case involving medical treatment at an army medical facility, which was tried to a jury verdict in Federal Court in favor of Mrs. Wilson's clients; Garcia v. HCA, Inc., and a jury verdict in State District Court. Further, Mrs. Wilson was a trial team member in Cervantes v. Columbia/St. David's Healthcare System, L.P., Correia v. Humana, Inc., and Fey v. Honeywell, which were promptly resolved in favor of her clients because of extensive preparation of witnesses and experts, identification of complex, disputed issues and persuasive presentation of the merits of the cases.
Mrs. Wilson has been honored by her peers for her trial expertise, and has been inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates and Best Lawyers in America. She is an active member of numerous professional organizations including the American Association of Justice, New Mexico Trial Lawyers, and Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
Mrs. Wilson is admitted to practice in the following courts: Texas Courts, the United States District Court, Western District of Texas, the United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas, and the New Mexico Courts.
