Patrice M. Colston - San Antonio, TX

Patrice M. Colston brings a deep-rooted commitment to justice, equity, and service to her legal practice. With a background in criminal justice and firsthand experience in multiple facets of the legal system, she is driven by a passion to be a strong, ethical advocate—especially for individuals and communities that are often underserved or unheard.

Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Patrice holds a B.S. in Criminology and an M.S. in Criminal Justice Studies from Florida State University. She earned her J.D. from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she was actively involved in the Mediation Clinic and completed internships with the Orleans Parish and Harris County District Attorney Offices. Before attending law school, she gained valuable experience as a legal assistant at the State Attorney’s Office in Pensacola.

Her practice includes drafting legal documents such as petitions, motions, demands, and discovery, meeting with clients, conducting research, and preparing for depositions, hearings, and mediations. She is known for being hardworking, diligent, empathetic, and adaptable—traits that allow her to connect with clients and advocate effectively on their behalf. For Patrice, becoming an attorney is more than a career—it’s a calling to promote fairness, accountability, and meaningful change through the power of the law.

Outside of the office, Patrice enjoys traveling attending concerts, and reading. She is also a former educator and cheer coach, experiences that shaped her leadership skills and deepened her connection to the community.
