Steve Dummitt is a San Antonio personal injury attorney and partner for The Carlson Law Firm who has been aggressively litigating personal injury and commercial disputes on behalf of injured persons and families. Steve has been ensuring your voice is heard against big insurance and other large corporations in San Antonio and throughout Texas since 2012.
Experience on your side
Steve's practice focuses on trucking and commercial vehicle collisions, product liability defect cases with mechanical failure resulting in severe burn injuries, and other traumatic and catastrophic injuries resulting from the negligence of others. Recently, Steve has focused his practice on insurance fraud and e-cigarette explosion cases where the vaping device or battery have failed leading to severe burns and facial injuries.
Steve is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar and Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum, was recognized for obtaining a top 50 settlement in Texas in 2016, top 50 car wreck verdict in Texas in 2018, was nominated by his peers as The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40 in 2019, and recently nominated by his peers in Central and South Texas as a San Antonio Monthly Top Attorney for 2020.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Steve was a sales manager for several years in various markets throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. He is fluent in Spanish having served a two-year mission for his church in San Antonio, Austin, and Del Rio from 2002-2004.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors with his beautiful wife and son, playing volleyball, and watching Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks as a lifelong member of the 12's.
