Xavier Guerra - San Antonio, TX

Mr. Xavier Guerra attended undergraduate school at the University of Texas–Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, where he earned a B.B.A. in Economics. Mr. Guerra earned his Juris Doctor at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.

During law school, Mr. Guerra interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, working on civil rights cases. He also gained valuable experience practicing immigration law at the St. Mary’s Center for Legal and Social Justice while serving the underprivileged immigrant community.

After law school, Mr. Guerra served as a clerk at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. At the court, he did extensive research and writing and drafted numerous judicial opinions. Mr. Guerra has also served in the litigation division of a Texas state agency, enforcing state and federal environmental regulations. He also has experience in employment law having been a labor law attorney for a public employees’ union.

Mr. Guerra also gained extensive writing experience drafting and editing litigation guides for Thomson Reuters (Westlaw).
