Overview
Diana primarily practices in the areas of civil insurance defense and personal injury law. Prior to joining Boyd, Boyd, & Giddens, she practiced family law in Tyler, Texas. Diana was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 2023 and serves on the board for the Smith County Young Lawyer’s Association.
Diana was born in Dallas, Texas, but was raised in the Tyler area. After graduating from Whitehouse High School, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Tyler. She later earned her Juris Doctorate from SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas.
As the first in her family to go to law school, Diana worked hard and continued to focus her energy on causes she is passionate about. Diana spent her last two years of law school with the Judge Elmo B. Hunter Legal Center for Victims of Crimes Against Women representing survivors of gender-based harms, including domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Diana also had the privilege to serve as a Judicial Extern with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
In her leisure time, Diana and her husband, Ryan, enjoy taking walks and playing with their dog and cat. She loves traveling, researching, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
