Verified ClientHired Attorney 2006-2018I practiced law for 26 years, during which time I handled cases in 19 states. Blair Jackson is one of the most honest, kind and hard working attorneys I’ve ever met. He consistently gets great results for his clients. I very highly recommend him without hesitation.

Verified ClientHired Attorney 2017-2022Without question, Blair is an incredible Attorney. He is so knowledgeable about business law and so much more! He has helped my company out on multiple occasions and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone! Blair also really does care about those who he represents and doesn't treat you like his next paycheck like a lot of business lawyers do. He is efficient, fair, he has good rates, and most of all, he is reliable. We are grateful to have Blair in our corner!

Consulted Attorney 2023I had a horrible experience with this lawyer. He treated my case not only very unprofessionally, but also with a malice. Mr. Jackson is lucky I gave him a half of a star. He deserves none. If you are a foreign citizen, I highly advise you to stay away from this lawyer because of his xenophobic attitudes.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
