Overview

Patrick C. Burt is an associate with Wilson-Goodman & Fong. Since joining the firm earlier last year, he has concentrated on Family, Employment, Commercial, and Business Law.

Mr. Burt's practice focuses on divorces, child custody, child support, parenting time, parental severance and adoptions, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, contract disputes, business formation and organization, as well as general legal advice and advocacy about real estate issues. His expertise encompasses most areas of law and is enhanced by his fluency in both the English and Spanish languages. Mr. Burt also has represented government agencies such as Child Protective Services in connection with his work for the Office of the Attorney General. In this capacity he has orchestrated numerous trials focused on issues surrounding a variety of family and juvenile law topics.

Mr. Burt is a member of both the Arizona State Bar and the Utah State Bar; and is further admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the State of Arizona.

Mr. Burt received his J.D. from Arizona State University School of Law, where he was a member of both the moot court's executive board and VITA. Earlier in his education he received a B.S. in Psychology form Utah State University, where he was part of the Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society and served the university as a peer counselor.
