Overview

Stevan is a partner at Olsen, Skoubye & Nielson, LLC. He manages a national commercial litigation practice with a special emphasis in transportation and construction law. He is an active member of the Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA) and Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA). He is the co-chair of the TLA’s Logistics and E-Commerce Committee.

Stevan assists freight brokers and trucking companies manage the risks inherent in the transportation industry. This includes advising brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers as they navigate complex cargo and casualty claims, providing insurance coverage analysis when cargo or casualty claims arise, and drafting transportation contracts that contemplate and mitigate risk before it occurs.

Stevan also provides experienced and aggressive representation to contractors, suppliers, and construction services professionals. He has successfully helped his clients work through complicated insurance coverage disputes, contract negotiations, lien foreclosures, bond claims, and land use issues.

Although based out of Salt Lake City, Stevan’s transportation and construction practices take him all over the State of Utah and the United States.

Prior to joining Olsen Skoubye & Nielson, Stevan was a judicial extern for the Hon. Ronald E. Nehring (Ret.) of the Utah Supreme Court.
