Randy, formerly a partner with Hazel & Thomas, P.C, serves as Managing Shareholder of the Loudoun County Office of Walsh, Colucci, Lubeley, Emrich & Walsh, P. C. His practice is based primarily in Land Use, Zoning, Regulatory Takings, and Virginia Local Government Practice.
A Leesburg resident, he has been deeply involved in a number of local government and community service activities in both Loudoun County and the Town of Leesburg and has served as Chairman of the Loudoun County Economic Development Commission, President of the Loudoun County Bar Association, Chairman of the Loudoun County Rural Economic Development Task Force, Loudoun County Chairman of one of the two major political parties, and Chairman of the Loudoun County Boy Scouts. Randy also is a leader and Life Director of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association, which was founded in part by his father, the late John R. Minchew, founder and President of the Minchew Corporation, a leading Northern Virginia homebuilder.
