Overview
Patrick T. O’Brien is a partner at Dischley Law, PLLC and a former prosecutor. He represents clients charged with DUI/DWI, reckless driving, and other criminal and traffic offenses in Fairfax, Prince William County, and throughout Northern Virginia. The firm has offices in Fairfax and Manassas.
Before entering criminal defense practice, Patrick prosecuted cases in Lynchburg and served as a Senior Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Alexandria. His trial experience includes criminal misdemeanors, serious traffic offenses, and major felonies. He has also trained attorneys, prosecutors, and law enforcement professionals on DUI, constitutional law, trial practice, and the presentation of evidence.
Patrick takes a practical, thorough approach to defense. He evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of the government’s case and works with each client to understand the available options and prepare for court.
