Steve Duckett was born and raised in Northern Virginia, giving him a deep-rooted understanding of the region and its unique legal landscape. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Richmond in 1994, where he earned degrees in Political Science and Economics, Steve pursued his passion for law at the University of Richmond School of Law, graduating in 1997.

From day one, Mr. Duckett committed his legal career exclusively to criminal defense. For over two decades, he has represented individuals facing a wide range of charges in General District and Circuit Courts across Northern Virginia, including Prince William, Fairfax, Stafford, Fauquier, Loudoun, Alexandria, Spotsylvania, and Culpeper counties.
