Jeffry A. Sachs - Norfolk, VA

Attorney Jeffry A. Sachs is an associate at Kalfus & Nachman who has been practicing law in the Hampton Roads area for more than 37 years. His background includes 15 years (1992 to 2007) of litigating on behalf of clients in cases throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia while working at Kalfus & Nachman. He then served for more than 7 years as the Head of the Litigation Section in the Hampton City Attorney’s office as a Deputy and then Senior Deputy City Attorney in that office. While in this role, he was honored to have been chosen by the Hampton City Council to serve, for a brief period, as the Acting City Attorney for the City of Hampton. Attorney Sachs also worked for several years as a staff counsel for a large national insurance company and as an independent, privately contracted insurance defense counsel. Ultimately, he was drawn back to the passion for protecting the wrongfully injured shared by our team at Kalfus & Nachman.

Mr. Sachs’ experience from both sides of the courtroom and both sides of the legal process provides him with unique insights into what his clients can expect as any case develops. Kalfus & Nachman does everything possible to help our clients recover the maximum amount for their cases, which is a goal shared by Attorney Sachs. He prides himself on his willingness to take the time to truly listen to his clients, enabling them to feel confident as their case proceeds.

Mr. Sachs completed his undergraduate studies in Criminal Justice at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. He went on to earn his law degree at the Delaware Law School of Widener University in Wilmington, Delaware.

In his spare time, Jeffry enjoys spending his time with his wife, Lynn, and visiting their incredibly gifted and talented daughters Sara and Rachel, whenever they can.
