Blake A. Pendleton - Reston, VA

Blake Pendleton is an associate in Odin Feldman Pittleman’s Litigation Practice Group, where he draws on his judicial clerkship and litigation experience to advocate for clients in complex disputes.

Before joining the firm, Blake served as an Administrative Law Clerk to the Honorable Daniel E. Ortiz of the Court of Appeals of Virginia, where he drafted published and unpublished opinions in a wide range of civil and criminal appeals and prepared bench memoranda for pre-panel review. He also clerked for the Honorable Michael E. Levy, Victoria A.B. Willis, and J. Bruce Strickland of the Stafford County Circuit Court, assisting with complex motions, election recounts, probation violation petitions, and a high volume of domestic and uncontested matters.

Blake’s prior experience includes work with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, Criminal Section, where he supported federal hate crimes prosecutions, and with the George Mason Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic, where he advised servicemembers and veterans on family law and benefits issues. He also gained judicial experience as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Thomas T. Cullen of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia and as a legal intern with the Fairfax Office of the Public Defender. In addition, Blake clerked with Sher, Cummings & Ellis in Arlington, supporting complex securities litigation.

Blake earned his J.D. from the George Mason School of Law and brings a detail-oriented, analytical approach to each matter he handles.
