Overview
Neil O’Donnell concentrates his practice on corporate and commercial transactions including project and infrastructure finance, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity transactions.
Neil has represented investors and issuers in all aspects of venture capital financings and private-equity transactions; and creditors, debtors, and refinancing parties in workout and debt-restructuring transactions. He has experience representing start-ups and established enterprises in various strategic financing, acquisition, joint-venture, and licensing transactions throughout the world.
Significant representations include:
- Represented governmental and private-sector developers, sponsors, and lenders/financing parties in a wide range of project and limited-recourse financings of power, telecommunications, transportation, and other industrial/infrastructure projects and facilities throughout the U.S and in more than 50 countries around the globe.
- Represented senior, subordinated, and mezzanine lenders, noteholders, and other creditors as well as borrowers, issuers, sponsors, equity holders and other debt parties, in more than fifty debt-financing transactions, with deal values ranging from less than $10 million to over $3 billion.
- Represented various issuers in private placements and registered offerings of debt and equity securities with an aggregate transaction value exceeding $2.5 billion.
Neil is proficient in Russian.
